Lensi Tally Mono — End User Licence (Desktop + Web)
Licence version 1.0 · 2026-10-20 · Licensor: D.R. Lensing (the seller) · Store: https://payhip.com/HopbyDanielLensing
This licence is the agreement between you and D.R. Lensing for the typeface you bought. By installing or using the Font Software you accept it.
1. The short version
- You bought one licence. It covers one person using the font on up to three computers they own or control, and self-hosting the web font on up to three websites they own or control.
- You can use it for personal and commercial work: logos, posters, packaging, slides, videos, dashboards, apps' static images, printed goods you sell, client work.
- You cannot resell, share, give away or re-host the font files themselves, or build a product whose point is to give other people the font.
- The typeface is AI-made (see section 8). You do not have to say so when you use it.
2. Definitions
- Font Software: the files
LensiTallyMono-Regular.ttf,LensiTallyMono-Regular.woff, any other format of the same design delivered with this licence, and any copies or conversions you make of them. - Licensor: D.R. Lensing, the owner of the design and the seller of this licence.
- Licensee / you: the single natural person who bought the licence. A company may buy on behalf of one named employee; each additional user needs their own licence.
- Your Sites: websites and web applications whose domain you own or administer.
3. Desktop licence
You may install the Font Software on up to three (3) computers (desktop, laptop or virtual machine) that you own or control, and use it in any application that renders text, to create documents, images, videos, print work and other outputs. Those outputs are yours; this licence does not restrict what you do with them.
4. Web licence
You may serve the Font Software from Your Sites, up to three (3) domains at a time (sub-domains of the same domain count as one), using @font-face or an equivalent mechanism. You may convert the .ttf to WOFF2 or another web format for that purpose. You must not offer the font files for direct download, and you should serve them from your own hosting or CDN rather than from a public font-sharing location. No page-view cap applies.
5. What you may not do
- Redistribute, resell, rent, lend, sub-license or publicly share the Font Software, in whole or in part, in any format, including inside templates, themes, design-tool kits or repositories where others could extract the font.
- Use the Font Software on a server so that people who are not the Licensee can type with it (for example a web-to-print tool or a customisation widget). That needs a separate server/app licence from the Licensor.
- Embed the Font Software in a software application, game or device firmware so that the application renders text with it. That needs a separate app licence from the Licensor. Static images and videos rendered from it are fine.
- Remove or change the copyright, licence or name information inside the files.
- Claim the design as your own or register it as a trademark or design right.
6. Modifications
You may modify the Font Software for your own use under the same limits as sections 3 and 4 (for example to add a glyph or convert formats). Modified versions are still the Licensor's Font Software and may not be distributed. If you want a modification made and supported, ask the Licensor through the store page.
7. Embedding in documents
You may embed the Font Software in PDF, EPUB and similar documents, in print-and-preview or editable mode, as long as the document itself is not a vehicle for extracting the font. The .ttf is marked "installable embedding" (fsType 0) so that ordinary document workflows work without friction.
8. Ownership and the AI-made note
The design and the Font Software are owned by D.R. Lensing. They were created as code by an AI coding assistant directed inside the Licensor's project; no existing typeface was traced or modified. This is disclosed on the product page and here so that buyers know what they are getting. The Licensor's view is that the outlines are original work; the Licensor makes no promise about how any jurisdiction treats copyright in AI-made designs.
9. Warranty and liability
The Font Software is provided "as is". The Licensor does not promise that it is free of errors or fits any particular purpose. To the extent the law allows, the Licensor is not liable for any damage arising from its use beyond refunding the licence price.
10. Term and termination
This licence lasts for as long as you keep to it. If you break it, it ends automatically; you must delete all copies and stop serving the web font. Sections 5, 8 and 9 survive termination.
11. Updates and support
Minor updates of version 1.x are included at no cost where the store lets the Licensor deliver them. Support is by message through the store page; replies usually take a few days. No other support is promised.
